Silver Maple Leaf Proof 1989

Issued in 1989 in a proof finish to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the introduction of the gold maple leaf in 1979. A total of 29,999 of these proof silver coins where released by the Royal Canadian Mint (RCM), the proof coin has mirrored fields and frosted relief of the maple leaf and queens image. The Proof Silver Maple Leaf was issued in a maple wood presentation case with black insert and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
