The Great Warriors Series 2010-Present
The Great Warriorsseries is a new release from the Perth Mint and depicts four great warriors from history, starting with the release of the first coins The Roman Legionary and The Viking Warrior, the other two coins will be the Knight and the Samurai. Each of the silver proof coin is housed in a case and comes with an illustrated shipper, also each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. No more than 5,000 silver proof coins will be minted for each design.

Great Warrior Roman Legionary
The Perth Mints Roman Legionary, portrays a Roman legionary tough, courageous and highly disciplined infantry soldiers, legionaries formed the backbone of the Roman. Released in 2010 and the first in the series no more than 5,000 of these silver proof coins have been minted.

Great Warrior Viking
The Perth Mints Viking Warrior, The design shows a Viking warrior gripping a Dane Axe in both hands. The weapons forged heads are decorated to denote the users wealth and status. Released in 2010 and the second in the series no more than 5,000 of these silver proof coins have been minted.

Great Warrior Knight
The Perth Mints Warrior Knight, This design shows a heavily armed Knight bearing two swords and a mace, a bludgeoning weapon with an armour penetrating head. The design includes heraldic motifs originally used to identify Knights in battle. Released in 2010 and the third in the series no more than 5,000 of these silver proof coins have been minted.

Great Warrior Samurai
The Perth Mints Samurai Warrior, the coins coloured reverse portrays a Samurai in full armour, each suit of Japanese armour (kikou), Japanese helmet (kabuto) and Japanese sword (katana) are believed to have a soul or chi. Released in 2011 and the last in the series no more than 5,000 of these silver proof coins have been minted.
