This series of .999 one ounce Silver Proof Coins and depict famous battles in Australia's history, this first release in this outstanding series honours the Australian diggers of the First World War, the Gallipoli or Dardanelles Campaign took place in the Ottoman Empire between April 1915 and January 1916. The second coin in the series honours the men who fought at the Tobruk, North Africa during the Western Desert Campaign of the Second World War.
